Bartosz is an expert in environmental risk, decarbonization and ESG regulations, with over a decade of experience in the banking sector. He currently works at mBank as an Environmental Risk and Portfolio Decarbonization Expert, where he is responsible for monitoring decarbonization targets, conducting scenario analyses and developing credit policies related to climate risk. His work also involves biodiversity issues and improving methods for estimating carbon footprints.
Previously, he worked at ING Bank Śląski, where he co-developed a transition risk assessment model for corporate clients, coordinated climate stress tests, and took part in a talent development program. He also contributed to assessing the materiality of environmental and climate-related risks.
Bartosz is a graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice and WSB University in Poznań, holding degrees in finance, accounting, and business psychology. Privately, he is a devoted father of three and a passionate enthusiast of family adventures — in the mountains and beyond.
