Area Lead at ING RiskHub Model Development department. Paweł leads teams of Risk Modelling Experts at ING, focusing on ING Group-wide methodologies and model (re)development projects. He oversees the substantive quality of Training Programs and plays a key role in ESG risk-related initiatives, including leading the integration of ESG factors into regulatory Credit Risk Models.
Paweł brings expert content knowledge, combined with leadership skills and extensive experience in data-driven projects within the Financial Sector, with a proven track record in developing advanced algorithms, models, and analytical tools using AI/ML methods. Prior to joining ING, he worked in banking and consulting (KPMG and EY), specializing in Strategic Advisory, Data Analytics, and Credit Risk Modelling.
Paweł graduated in Physics and Econophysics. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR), Licensed Securities Broker authorized to perform Investment Advisory Services (Polish FSA, no 2932).
Seasoned Trainer with multiple years of experience in training individuals and groups – starting from being a Private Tutor and Trainer at the Roman Czarnecki Educational Foundation, through developing internal trainings for Credit Risk Modellers in ING RiskHub, to overseeing ING Group-wide Credit Risk Model Development Training Programs.
